    Welcome to LIV ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Dr. Deepal Kaur Rai (MBBS BSc MRCP MRCGP). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.livlifelong.com (the "Site") and any medical, coaching, or consultation services offered through LIV.

    By booking an appointment, using our website, or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

    1. Scope of Services & Clinical Governance

    LIV provides doctor-led Lifestyle Medicine consultations, Transformational Coaching, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) coaching focused on disease prevention, healthspan optimisation, and lifestyle modifications.

    • Non-Emergency Care: Our services do not replace emergency medical care or acute primary care. All routine medical care must continue through your registered NHS General Practitioner (GP) or regular doctor.

    • Scope Exclusions: LIV does not provide acute medical care, emergency services, or prescribing of controlled substances.

    • Service Fees: All fees for consultations, diagnostic assessments (e.g., INSIGHT360™), and structured coaching programmes (e.g., The Midlife Reset) are detailed on our website.

    • Payment Terms: Payment is due within 5 working days of receiving an invoice or upon checkout via our payment portal.

    • Refunds: Refunds are issued solely at the Practitioner’s discretion and only for services that have not yet been rendered.

    • Notice Required: If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice.

    • Late Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled session fee.

    • No-Shows: Missed appointments without prior notice will be charged in full (100%).

    • Practitioner Emergencies: If the Practitioner needs to reschedule due to an emergency, you will be given as much notice as possible and offered an alternative appointment time.

    • The client is solely responsible for their decisions, implementation, and actions resulting from sessions.

    • Success requires active participation, honest disclosure on health intake forms, and engagement with agreed lifestyle recommendations.

  • All material on this Site—including graphics, branding (LIV), logos, programme content, guides, and text—is owned by Dr. Deepal Kaur Rai / LIV. You may not reproduce, sell, or distribute our proprietary materials without prior written consent.

    • Confidentiality: All client discussions and records are strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law, court order, or significant risk of harm to yourself or others.

    • Data Retention: Client records and consultation notes are securely retained in digital format for a period of 8 years in accordance with medical record retention guidelines.

    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, LIV's total financial liability under any circumstance shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service rendered.

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
